Suggestion: Ability to search offspring pedigree records

When you go to pedigree and select a search option (like fur type) it gives you a list of only the lives and boxes you currently own.

A few times I have had to retrieve the ID on a kittycat I no longer owned (doing customer support for a client) and spent hours searching pedigree on every cat I own to find the baby I was searching for.

It would be great if there was a search function (say offspring search) that allowed us to search on a trait (like fur type) and returned any offspring in our pedigree records with that trait. It could be added to the male/female drop down located before name. Right now that has All, blank, female and male to select from. Could add OS (offspring) to that drop down list.

I like the idea. I haven't parted with many kitties, but I've kept a screenshot of the pedigree of those I have parted with for my own records. I know as more of my kitties go to new owners the folder will grow and finding records will get more difficult.

I keep records in a document also but would be nice to have an easier option.
