RE: NEW EYE: Orange Dream
Orange Dream is recessive to Tapestry Allure

Well this is not going to be very helpful in narrowing things down but it'll be a start. (right click and choose "open image in new tab" to see the image in actual size)

So here we have Mom Cassie + Dad Humberto = Baby Ashby with Orange dream

We'll take Dad Humberto first
Dad's Humberto first kid was with Jenine. Both were Boho Love collection cats so both show genesis bronze eyes. Their kid shows Tapestry Allure (I know it shows tea and is a toy but it was twin and the other was a tea and they got named together)

Since Dad Humberto second kid was Orange Dream with Cassie and Cassie shows Odyssey Rock No. 1 and hides Brushed Steel, that proves Orange Dream is from Humberto and Tapestry Allure is from jenine.

Orange Dream is recessive to Tapestry Allure

Orange Dream is dominant to Odyssey Rock No. 1 (Mom's shown) or Brushed Steel (Mom's hid)

Here's Mom Cassie.
Mom shows Odyssey Rock No. 1 from Dad Henry
Mom hides Sky Sherbert (Wilda's shown) or Brushed Steel (Wilda's hid) from her Mom Wilda

Now here's the thing. Wilda's hid Brushed Steel comes from her dad Santiago. Both her grandparents Creighton and Maddy have Brushed Steel hid. But Maddy did not get her Brushed Steel from Creighton. I can prove both Maddy and Creighton have Brushed Steel hid and not Faded Flower but it's a string of 10 proofs or more by the time I'm done because I have to follow both Maddy and Creighton through their pedigrees back to the source of their hidden Brushed Steel. By the time I got to 5 proofs on Maddy alone, I figured the post was too long for folks to read plus all the pictures.

I figure since I am checking if Cassie hides Sky Sherbert anyways, I'll show a proof of Sky Sherbert or Brushed Steel from Cassie when I get that as it will simplify showing the proofs or someone else will have narrowed it down below that.

RE: NEW EYE: Orange Dream
Hi Kayla,
The Orange Dream vs. OdyRock 1 pedigrees were missing. Would love to take a peek :-)

Orange Dream is dominant to Liquid Gold
The male Busy Bee hides Liquid Gold:

Therefore Snuggles hides Orange Dream which makes it dominant to Liquid Gold

And I just noticed the baby Busy Bee is a Hubba Tubba!!

RE: NEW EYE: Orange Dream
Hi Songdog,
With mom's Odyrock 1 pedigree is I don't know yet if mom's shown or or her Brushed Steel hid is behind the Orange Dream. I have to go too far back to prove Mom's hid Brushed Steel is Brush Steel -- after going back 5 gens and still not back to the Brushed Steel proof, I just decided on that side to birth the baby and find out if it has Ody rock or Brushed Steel. The write-up to get to the Brushed Steel first proof was becoming a pain.

There is not much difference between Brushed Steel and Faded Flower but if you have a ton of Brushed Steel to breed against the orange dream, OD is dom to Brushed Steel. It'd be a waste to use Faded Flower against it if you don't haee a ton of FF. I just don't know yet if it's dom to Ody Rock. I have 2 orange dream shown kids both with parents who show ody rock and hide brushed steel. I'll see if the second parent has a shorter path to the hid brushed steel proof. I should have a direct proof within a couple of weeks with the kid's hid behind their orange dream. My Ody Collision proof is already outdated with the Auricula4's Liquid Gold proof so new proofs should be happening fast and furious.

RE: NEW EYE: Orange Dream
So I have Orange Dream between Sun Sherbert and Brushed Steel.

So first, I thought Orange Dream got pulled by Boardwalk Blue hiding in Tom Robbins

Then I put Tom Robbins with a cat with Sun Sherbert eyes (which should be recessive to Boardwalk Blue) and got... Sun Sherbert

So, I had to go back and figure out what eye the cat with Boardwalk Blue (Bubbles) was hiding, and that is actually quite far back, but appears to be Brushed Steel.

So my theory is that Orange Dream is between Brushed Steel and Sun Sherbert

RE: NEW EYE: Orange Dream
Wow! Thanks Draco - this does indeed prove Orange Dream recessive to Sun Sherbet. It will be interesting to see what Orangina hides - Sun Sherbert is dominant to Boardwalk Blue (it's Sky Sherbert that is recessive to BB), so she could hide Boardwalk Blue or whatever Bubbles hides.
