That is the point of breeding: to put together the traits you want.
Can you change anything about a specific cat? With limited exceptions: No.
The exception is a random special trait (for example a St Partick's Day trait) suddenly appearing on an offspring can ruin a long breeding program, so you're allowed to ask to have the special trait removed.
