adopted kitty

I recently adopted a 26 day old Kitty and he is not automatically eating like my newborns....is there something I need to do? He is at 40% hunger...Please help

try rerezzing him and see if that'll make him eat. It can take quite some time after rerezzing, so wait like an hour or so and see if the hunger goes down
