Many kitties show as white

Is there a viewer setting that will help me see certain kitties? For instance any 'special' kitties show as white except in the cattery. Also I've noticed certain shades such as illume also show was just a white kitty in both Second Life and Firestorm viewers. Help?

If you're speaking of in-world, things such as shade critically effect appearance and, yes, can wash out until all you see is a white blob. There are view settings which can effect this. It is also effected by such things as your monitor type (CRT vs flat screen; LCD vs LED vs gas plasma) graphics card choice, operating system software (driver) settings, and even the brightness and contrast on your screen.

If the problem is only in-world, start with the Preferences settings for your viewer.

If the problem is also on the web site, start with Brightness and Contrast on your monitor.

I may not have been clear, it's certain shades that show as a white cat instead of the color that it actually is. Illume and Giitter or Twinkle for example.

Depending on your graphics any glow can basically "white out" the prims.

I was able to fix it by messing with the graphics settings..whoo hooo
