Would a breeding chart website be well received do you think?

Hello all! Brand new KittyCats addict here. I am a bit of a nerd and build databases and database backed websites for everything. So trying to track my kitties and their shown and hidden traits it just makes sense that I would build another. I can build a database for myself, or I could build a (free) website to share. My vision is that users would log in, enter and track traits via drop down menus, and have the ability to make their kitties searchable if they wanted. That way, if another breeder were looking for a kitty with particular attributes, they could find a new friend who has such a kitty.

It takes a bit more work to make the website, but if you guys think it might get used it could be a fun project for me while I wait for my kitties to get all lovey!

Your idea sounds awesum, sure would save hours of trawling laggy sims, searching for cats - look forward to seeing this idea come into action!

This sounds like a REALLY interesting and useful project.
KC addicts love useful gadgets and i think this could be really big if you can swing it.
If possible it'd be good also to be able to have 2 drop downs for each trait as we're often as interested in what is hidden as what is showing.

That's a great idea. My friend and I are using a basic database just for ourselves. I would love to see the outcome.

Ohhhh this sounds very interesting. Would love to see something like this. Sometimes it is difficult to juggle all the documents at times and try to remember all the information.

Hi SaraJane, I've got an Access database for mine, can convert it if needed and actually a database using an IPB Forum and don't mind sharing if needed.
