Tribute Cats
Wiping away some tears after reading Cat's post in the Wanted section, I'm thinking back on the many time's I've read posts here of people desperately wanting a virtual version of a very special cat.

Being a hoarder, after I read the post I went straight to my box list and searched, but came up with nothing even close.

It made me wonder if maybe KittyCatS would consider making Tribute Cats. They could come as already permapetted, which would negate any worry of unfairness in breeding. But oh how they would comfort the heart and soul. Perhaps, as I'm sure it would be opening a floodgate of requests, this could be another option for menagerie kitty bucks? That would take some time to aquire, and slow down the onslaught a bit anyway.

What do you all think? I know I'd stand in that line.

Hugs,
Noc

Noc, first of all, thank you for your effort to help me find my so-desired tiny little kitten. {{hugs}}

Second of all, I adore and applaud your notion of KittyCatS "Tribute Cats." What a grand idea! Yes, we often read of folks seeking a Second Life cat to help honour and remember a beloved Real Life cat. The ability to acquire one would help in the healing process --- especially in special sizes, like teacup ... ; ). I'm waiting right beside you in that line!

RE: Tribute Cats
I think this would be such a lovely idea. I am not sure how much work it would be on the back end but I think it could totally be worth it.

RE: Tribute Cats
What an awesome idea Noc!
I've looked in my pedigrees as well: no luck Undecided
I can imagine it is indeed a lot of extra work but só woth it I think because there is much pain behind the keys/ screen of people who have lost a cat.
In fact the very reason I breed cats is because I lack the joy of having a real cat due to allergics so these virtual buggers are really my babies.
Luckily I have good news Deer shared with me she has the heaviest allergies ever but it seems a Balinese or Siamese doesn't give those reactions in most cases.

RE: Tribute Cats
I also LOVE this idea... I've been searching high and low for an inworld kitty resembling my boy Maddy I lost 2-1/2 years ago. When the slate chateau appeared, I was so excited as it most resembles him, but I have yet to find the right traits. KC please consider this? =D

RE: Tribute Cats
I like the idea of easing the pain of a heart, but I'm not sure I understand exactly what these tribute cats are supposed to be? Can someone explain it like they would a small child? XD Preferably with a lot of cookies to help!
