RE: **IMPORTANT** Drop Bug Information

What I have done to work around this bug, is to attach something else from my inventory (a random box, etc.) and see if the DROP option is there. If it is, then I've been picking up and cuddling my kitties, if it is not, I only play with them. So far so good, except when I accidentally logged out with one attached and the drop option wasn't there when I logged back on, but so far, a good tester for me Smile

Hey there! How about the "we recommend that customers disable the cat's ability to walk and run"? Can I let my kitties stray again?

I tryed setting on again the walk option, but my cats still fall downstairs. Of 5 cats only one stayed uptairs. So I think that bug isn't fixed yet.

Thank you for sharing your findings. The initial posting is not very clear about what happens if cats walk and run around. I read it that way, that they can get lost by walking, too, so that's my biggest concern. If they just fall down somewhere and I can pick them up again, that would be ugly, but not that critical as a lost cat.

I was hoping to get some official response here, but it seems this thread is not monitored anymore by kittycats support staff. I better file a ticket to get an official answer about walking cats.

Hi guys. You should be fine to allow your cats to walk/run like normal as well. Cats falling downstairs is unrelated to the bug and has to do more with physical prims and SL "gravity". If your cats are falling out of skyboxes or slipping through floors, try increasing the thickness of the floor prim, or adding an extra prim underneath the floor to create more of a barrier that the cats can't get through.

There's a sucker born every minute, and the stray cats know where we all live!
