A Menagerie to Visit

RE: A Menagerie to Visit

My big milling machine in the shoppe has
a 'menagerie' logo stamped into the bottom of it.
But being one who takes on the concept of the menagerie HEAD ON,
complete with a SOYLENT GREEN IS KITTEH signature,
I have no problem with the fanciful fantasies some wish to indulge in
regarding the kitteh they have decided to cash in for tiger bucks.

If it works for you, if it makes you feel better about it,
I say go for it.

If you want to get real creative about it,
I say REALLY GO FOR IT!

Thats what we do in here.
We let our creativity go berzerk and MAKE STUFF!

I thought that pic from the Disney flick TOTALLY ROCKED.
I would go there!
Though it looks more like KITTEH HELL,
it would be an awesome build!

RE: A Menagerie to Visit
I think this is a lovely idea!

I would love to see a place like this, even if it's only for a few days, like if our kitties grant us the honor to come and visit through a dream.

When the first menagerie tigers were released I couldn't resist the rush to have one, but it didn't take long before i felt awful about sending so many kitty projects to the menagerie. I remember I made a comment in group chat and Annie Hancroft was kind enough to reply and to share her blog link with me, she explains in a very imaginative way what and where the Menagerie is and I still cannot thank her enough because her blog post came to me in the right time, it made me smile when I was feeling a bit down...

I haven't seen Annie online in a long time but I will share her blog post with you all here: http://ahancroft.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/...gerie.html

I would love to be able to visit Meowi and sip on a Catnip Julep while I have a stroll around!

RE: A Menagerie to Visit
thank you for sharing that post, I love how she writes about it Big Grin

I still think this is a great idea too, a chance to visit, kind of like a limited time vacation where some forbidden ( to humans) land is opened for a time. Love the ideas that come from this group.

RE: A Menagerie to Visit
What if that(menagerie/Meowi/kitty heaven) was the theme for one of the holiday celebrations? Like, maybe next year for KC's birthday they can open a menagerie sim and we could see all the fun little activities the kitties are up to! And the collection could be birthday devils and angels or something. Tongue Like Maxwell pointed out, there wouldn't be every cat that has ever been menageried; rather it will just be a bunch of random kitties (like there always are on display sims). Either way, I like this idea; even if it was just a small little setup on the main sim.

RE: A Menagerie to Visit
to expand on daki's idea for a small main store display, in keeping with the random idea, have the cats that are shown change every couple of days. Since i've seen in my pedi which ones i've sent away they obvisouly have some sort of database and maybe even a little notice could be sent out if the parent wanted to see their little one again. If any of this makes sense, i'm tired but wide awake so am prone to rambles. Anyways, rock on with this idea.
