For a long time, I had also been one of those people who didn't understand wanting to own a breedable. Then, a couple friends dragged me into the flutters. They were cute, and cheap to feed, and soon I had a whole swarm of them making the sim look beautiful. For several reasons I have since left the flutters, but they opened me up to the wonderful world of Breedables.

KittyCatS however, I discovered because my SL Sis, Rox, had been given a toy sized girl for a birthday present and it had been running around in her home for awhile when she decided she wanted a partner for it. She was, and is, heavily involved in the horses and didn't have a lot of time to go hunting for a little boy, so she enlisted my aid. She told me what sort of fur and eye combo she wanted, (and let me tell you, it's HARD looking for SPECIFIC traits like that!!!) and I wandered I think pretty much every single Marketsim there was back then. I especially loved wandering at Alleycats. Eventually I found her the kitty of her dreams, the kitty of her bf's dreams, and.. along the way I discovered OCICATS!! LAVENDER ONES! with ILLUME! omg! My husband and I had actually priced out RL ocicats at one time, but decided our house was too small for them. RL Oci's are mega active and adore water. So to be able to have one in SL was fantastic!

A pair, soon turned into 4 pair. and I held firm to those 8 for quite awhile. Resisting all temptations to increase my numbers. However, then I started attending Sanura's auctions and learning the intricacies to breeding and how to breed for hidden traits and how to read a pedigree. I called on my friend Rocky and asked him if my kitties were any good. He was nice and said they were ... cute. LOL.. and with his help I began my journey into serious breeding. Now, well over a year later, I have 50 cats, and I have learned to breed for what I love. Eventually I'll get myself back down to 30 cats.. really, I can do it! HONEST!! >.> just as soon as these projects are done... uh huh..

It's all the fault of Rox, Sanura, Rocky, LickN, and every breeder who keeps selling kitties I NEEEEEDDDD at auctions. lol

Being an avid breedables tester and player, I’ve always been interested in seeing Kitty Cats around Second Life. However, I never took the plunge until quite recently. I noticed on the Breedable Inc blog that Kitty Cats had won an award for the best breedable in Second Life and so it was that that twisted my arm and lead me to the Kitty Cats main store to find out more. I haven’t looked back since.

A few years back I was looking for an sl pet. I looked at all kinds of pets, breedables. Nothing really interested me. I just didn't care for the textures of some, the build of some, the animations, none of them really impressed me. I had pretty much given up on the idea of having an sl pet.
Then a friend gave me a box. I unpacked it, (I think many of us have killed our first kitten this way, *blush) So he got me another one. My best friend and I sat on the floor and watched the box as it bounced around for, yes back then was a half hour.

When that cute little domino appeared, I just fell in love. The texture was wonderful. The way it moved and was built was like it had it's own lil personality. Been breeding kitties since. How can you not fall in love with these lil faces.

I had a Z**bie cat LOL OMG,... I spare you the details how I think about those because this is a PG forum but I found them pretty MegaPuss to say the least.
I never thought it was even possible to make any type of animal cute in SL and in my opinion nobody succeeded but KC.
They are wicked they made me an uncurable breeder

Thank you! I've been on a kick taking their pics in the grass. They just look so cute there, like they're being mischievous. lol

I never tried any of the others. Well I did have just one of something but wasn't at all impressed with it. It ran away, probably to find food since the kitties come first.

I was shopping in a cute little store (Sanu) with accessories and makeup and lots of cute things, when I saw there was a random kitten gatcha. Each go was only 75L. I got one, a Siamese Chocolate, and took it home. Then I started reading up on the website, browsing some sims, found Saga's Charts and got totally sucked into the idea of breeding. I went back and hit the gatcha again, but alas, it was another girl! So then I headed out, hit the market, started buying kitties, and the rest is history! The second box I got from that gatcha, later named Diana Ross, is still one of my favorite kitties. She held so many great surprises and really put the excitement in kitties for me.
