Blacklight Chateau!
I think it would be cool if there was a chateau where the two colors are black and dark purple! Say the black part is like the pink on a pink and white #1, and the dark purple is the white part.

RE: Blacklight Chateau!
We need more fantasy colors in general that are breedable - yes, some of us like the idea of breeding blueberry eyes onto a blacklight purple fur and really make that pop, etcetera! I still breed my same Chateau - Pink & White 1 line from October 2011, they look like yummy, candy-colored treats combined with their prism eyes and none compare in terms of vividness.
I think Fancie cats and colorful holiday collection cats don't give the same satisfaction as breeding the wide palette of available traits onto a breedable fantasy-colored fur. In my opinion and from what I've heard, there's most likely a dev on KittyCatS who doesn't agree with having fantasy colors as part of the breeding aspect of KittyCatS which would probably explain why despite the amount of attempts we've made trying to get new fantasy-colored cats, we haven't been successful.
So here's to hoping we get enough community members on-board this time to convince whoever it is that fantasy-colored cats are worthy of being bred out and we sure will make gorgeous ones with the multitudinous amount of traits available to blend with new fantasy furs. We can't let the classic fur-lovers have all of the fun and deserve to breed what color combinations we dream of as well!

RE: Blacklight Chateau!
As a fantasy creature myself, this is why I want this. SL is too amazing and multi-dimensional to ONLY have 'real world' creatures in it. Or even a majority.
I change my own avatar so much, people tell me they are glad I have my name floating over my head so that they know it's me. :-)
Please, please, more colors! More attributes!
These avenues would not take away from the kittycats that already are, they will only add to the world of kittycats.

I wouldn't mind if they made a special line of starters that could contain furs like this, but personally i'm hoping they don't add more odd-color regular breedable furs to their standard starters. I won't even have the pink and white in my cattery, and the one starter i've had that gave it, well, let's just say they went immediately to a new home.
Perhaps maybe a special tiger that could have the non-natural furs if they chose to expand this direction? I honestly don't know the solution, but I, for one, would be very unhappy to see more of these types in the regular lineup of starter furs.

RE: Blacklight Chateau!
I for one HATE all these stupid colored cats. They are so very unrealistic and it's sickening. Maybe I'm just a 'Debby Downer', but I think they should only have basic colors for virtual cats to make it more realistic. Like that movie Pleasentville, things were great there until the stupid dude from Spider-man ruined everything.

RE: Blacklight Chateau!
KittyCatS should strive for a fur palette aesthetically pleasing to everyone of all spectrums. To please the demand of KittyCatS breeders who have requested right here and in the past for any sort of fantasy fur, I think cats such as a potential blacklight kitty would be wonderful for catering to the wants of those wishing for more than just a breedable pink & white. And to make it fair to those who laud fantasy-colored furs, they should be available much like any other KittyCatS breedable fur would be if implemented.
If you read the "How I found KittyCatS" thread, there's a plentiful amount of community members who fell in love with KittyCatS via the pinks & whites, myself included. I would /not/ be here if it wasn't for Chateau - Pink & White 1. There's many, many furs right now that individuals may or may not find as aesthetically lovely as others and therefore choose not to breed them. Much like we decide not to include various available furs in our catteries due to personal preferences, those who don't wish for breedable fantasy-colored furs can simply choose not to breed those, and everyone wins with their dream kitty options whether having a liking for more realistic or fantasy-colored fur.

RE: Blacklight Chateau!
So...does this mean you hate the eyes that are rainbow or blacklight or electric green? The regular kittycats come with all sorts of amazing eyes that do NOT occur in nature.
Do you eschew those as well?

Listen, I don't care for most of the 'normal' breeds, but I would never say to people who love them that they shouldn't have them or they shouldn't exist. When I get a kitty I don't want, that's fine. I give it away or sell it or menagerie it. No biggie.
The way the breeding works, it's not hard to stick to the color lines a person likes and enjoys. Adding in fantasy breeds wouldn't change that. It would just expand it for the people who like that sort of thing.
Personally, I'm not wild about the idea of just a fantasy tiger or a collection. Those already exist. I want the fun of producing beautiful, fantasy kitties because that is my nature and what gives me joy. Having that as an option would in no way diminish anyone else's ability to enjoy the more 'real world' kitties.

You make me laugh so hard you don't want to know, thank you for making my day XD
Either way works for me on this subject by the way.
If I like it I breed it and otherwise I leave it alone just as I do now with certain traits.
*Runs away real fast by even the glance of a Pandie certainly the brown
But I'm okay they are there as long as they don't come to close to me
I'd like it also if they remain to release surreal, almost unreal and real a bit balanced so everyone has something to like.
