Well, we're up to starter Meridel's ninth breeding (her fourth with Amaud), and so far we have discovered all of the traits Meridel hides that a starter is guaranteed to hide, with the exception of whisker shape. We also learned that Meridel hides non-genesis eye shape and pupil size. Let's see if this ninth breeding will tell us anything about Meridel's hidden whisker shape:



Now this is a result that I would have liked to have had in week 1! Week 9 Kitten is showing 6 of Meridel's hidden non-genesis traits (fur, eyes, eye shape, pupil size, tail and whisker colour). Unfortunately, he isn't showing that elusive hidden whisker shape, which is what we're really after. I'm going to leave this one in the box as well, although this would definitely be a good starting point for breeding out a cute Grey and White No. 2 with Serenity eyes!

So we're still in basically the same place as we were last week in terms of what we know about Meridel's hiddens. To summarize what we know about Meridel's non-genesis hiddens: Meridel hides Chateau Cat - Grey & White No. 2 fur, Serenity eyes, Mysterious eye shape, Small pupils, Mysterious tail, Mysterious ears, Black whisker colour, and a Curious or more recessive whisker shape.
