this right here is what floods the market, and depresses prices in the long run. which is one of the points the op was trying to make,

if you put rare traits or unique traits in to one or a small few new releases people will continue to try to get those traits which again floods the market with more cats that dont have those traits and people turn there focus away from the cats, because if its not the newest trait its not worth anything...

all of this is what others have said time and time again on this post, but i thought i would just add my 2 cents again..
