RE: Pink (or purple) cats
I'd love to see another pink cat. Given that we have Chateau Pink & White no.1, we all expected to see no.2 sooner or later. Unfortunately, the "fantasy" color of the pink cat threw the community into a dither with the love it and hate it factions both passionately bantering back and forth. I too heard the same scuttlebutt that Callie wanted to make more but the rest of the team wanted to do only "real" fur and only have "fantasy" furs on the costumes of special kitteh. Since those costumes don't pass, the breeders are the ones that loose out on this deal. One of the most fun aspects of breeding imo is dreaming of what fur to put with what eye and what tail etc. I spend hours at times dreaming of this and I'm disappointed that the KC team won't seem to budge on this.
I hope for a day when we will see a few more "fantasy" furs. Until then I remain the dreaming, the dreamer and the dream.
