You did good but you have a small area to rethink. Where you are making a wrong turn is that you can only get 1 fur from Mom and 1 fur from Dad.

You said baby's shown fur come from mom. That is correct. If you get 1 from mom, you cannot get another fur from Mom. Mom passes 1 and Dad passes 1.
Special Question A. So if Mom passes the shown fur and she can only pass 1 fur, who is left for the hidden fur to come from?
