Cats need to talk to the mothership, via the web. They do this periodically when in-world. They also do this when specific events occur. this includes:

- rez from inventory
- rez from dock
- changing prim mode
- wearing/cuddling and walking more than 10 meters into another region (sim)
- wearing/cuddling and teleporting to another region (sim)

other events, such are partnering, also cause communication with the mothership

Communication with the mothership is generally quite fast. But a number of factors can slow it down. Being a network connection, it can fail, eventually resulting in a timeout. When this occurs, the cats will re-attempt communications several minutes later.

When these events occur, and a box is due, the communication puts the cats in a queue for box production. It can take a bit for the mothership to work through this queue.

In general, it should take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes for a box to appear.

If this does not occur, FIRST check all factors listed in the FAQ. The either re-rez the cats or wear the proper group tag, cuddle them and teleport.

If none of these solve the problem, and it's been over 15 to 30 minutes since BOTH cats began showing 2 hearts, file a support ticket.

But remember, it is extremely rare that the factors in the FAQ are not the root cause of your problems!
