I've always assumed that the darkness/lightness was a function not of scripts but of the darkness/lightness of the photo that was taken of a model cat, since it is consistent across all MOFs (dark), and all Wild Tiger ears (light). It also appears on the Build-a-Cat images.
The Pawsable Traits Reference manager and a Chart keeper.
