RE: New Traits Too Often ?
I understand we can all get frustrated when we work so hard but this is a free market in sl that KC has so graciously provided for us and we all may choose to participate at the level that suits our needs.
We all take a risk as well: the more collection kittens we buy, the more linden we spend to buy those kittens, feed all those kittens, and then expend out time and energy to manage them to the best of our ability.
Regardless of how many kittens we buy, we all have the same risk and/or luck to find new traits. This is part of what makes it so exciting and enjoyable.
If you only buy 10 Easter kittens, like myself, then you reap the luck or (or not so much luck) of those 10 kittens. If you spend the linden to buy 100 kittens, then you also reap the luck or the down fall of those 100 kittens.
Please do not try to take anything away from those that do participate at a more aggressive level: they pay for it, they spend the hours working it, and then they share all those new and wonderful traits with us.
KC provides us with hours of enjoyment, challenges, surprises, and endless opportunity to express our talent and creativity with loads of new traits on a regular basis.
Do not cry over this. Jump in with both feet, do your best to make lovely kittens, and enjoy the friendships that you make along the way.
Oh, btw, I do feel the pain regarding price. And yes, I do see some that seem to be so desperate for linden that they will sell a 5T Siamese Chocolate Tortie for 5000L, yikes. I can not assume that I know why they made this sale, maybe they were just being super nice, helping a newcomer, or maybe they just needed the linden today. I know I did this same thing when I was very new and did not fully understand the market. I am sure they had a very good reason. At the end of the day we get over it and go on to make even nicer kittens and then enjoy sharing them in the community.
