I agree with this.
When I first started with breeding kitties I admit I got sucked up in all the lovely kitties and traits I wanted to breed and had basically too many breeders running.
Sentimental reasons played a role as well I simply couldn't menagerie that cute kitty so I kept it.
Later on I realized it was very important to become less sentimental and more selective what I was breeding/ feeding and not.
Perhaps this is the best advice to really have a budget and a plan and evaluate your cattery.
I know that can be tough and we don't want to look at our kitties like that but we have to I'm afraid.
