The whiskers of the kitty have a prominent place in the expression of a kitty while a tail matters less to me eventhough I prefer a long tail over the short tails.
Well that is your personal preference, but, take a 9T cat with BooBoo whiskers and a completely similar one but with plush whisker instead. To me the booboo cat is way more high-end then the exact similar cat with plush whisker, due to rarity. That's why personal preference does not matter much when it comes to how I define a high-end cat.
