It's probably in my head, (not a proven fact) but to me it seems like they make boxes faster when they're happier. It might just be that it's a nice way to pass the time, cuddling a cute kitty, and makes it seem faster.

And yes Kay and Sax, it's time to wave those voodoo dolls and sticks at my kitties! They've been extra stubborn lately.
