You don't have to give the other person your kitty or take theirs. You can set up a play date. It just takes both of you to be there to set the partners. One to set the other to give the ok.
One word of advise...Make sure you both agree on any terms before the partnering if it's someone you don't know well or even with a good friend. If it ends up being a multimillion linden kitty that you will split lindens or share breedings.

Outstanding idea, especially with the advice you added. I do this quite often with friends, as I'm constantly out of balance as cats retire or fail to produce what I want, LOL.
