You young whipper-snappers don't have any idea what it was like to walk to the Kitty market and back home, barefoot, in the snow, uphill both ways, just to sell a male Red Tabby and buy the female you wanted because Red Tabby was all the rage, people were complaining they couldn't get them from their Bengal Sorell, dressed in your latest flexi-hair, wearing clothes that looked spray-painted on, and, good gods, did I mention the BARE FEET! OMG they were ugly, but not as ugly as those terrible sculptie shoes which had to be about size 40 to cover those awful feet and made you look like Sasquatch in a painted-on tuxedo. Hey, wait a minute! I still have an ALT which looks like that! No, I won't log him in, it makes my eyes ache just thinking about what he must look like.
