Post sometimes fail to appear
This mainly seems to effect posts with a LOT of follow-ups. Mainly, this effects the pinned (Important) thread Who Discovered What When ...
The problem seems to occur mainly when a new post should cause the thread to move to a new page. (The thread in question is now over 45 pages long.)
The problem is browser independent.
Once enough followups appear (it can take a few) the problem clears up until another page is needed.
The problem is also apparent in the forum index. The Last Post link gets updated to show the correct user name but, when clicked, goes to the OP rather then the last post.
This appears to be a bug in the MyBB software. Upgrading to the latest version may correct the issue. But upgrading might also break the custom pages (Pedigree, Cattery, etc).
My recommendation is to coordinate with Deer Thistle and/or Dottie Idlemind to start a replacement for the thread in question. Once that thread has been initiated promote it to replace the existing Important thread, and demote the original.
