Potential Cattery Features?

After sorting through nearly 1000 boxes yesterday, I've come to the conclusion that the following features would be amazing to see in cattery.

• Ability to color code/label boxes in cattery and view the names/markers on the cat to SL list.
• Menagerie button in cattery.
• An option to send things like love drops from starters to cattery.
• Ability to birth boxes in cattery.
• Ability to purchase Menagerie and Limited Edition kitties in cattery.
  

I know some of these are repeats from other posts, but this is my personal wish list of features. I think that this would make it a lot easier to manage large quantities of boxes and help to ensure that you don't pull out and sell/menagerie that box that you really wanted to keep for later. The ability to birth and purchase kitties through cattery would also help with rollback-eaten kitties and delivery glitches. There's nothing worse than birthing kitties when suddenly the sim goes down and rolls back 2 hours, eating your kittens. I'm also sure that it's a hassle for KC when new LE's come out and every one swarms the vendors and some don't deliver correctly, resulting in a flood of tickets.

Even to have just like a star or a flag that you could change the color of and have say 5 color options. As an auctioneer, that would give me a way to flag boxes as raffle/auction/shop sales/marketplace/menagerie. Being able to sort by flag/color would also be amazing, but I would be happy with just the ability to visually mark.

I'd like to quickly add that I'd love to be able to see box names in the cattery. I just finished sorting about 3000 boxes, giving them all names that helped to categorize them the way that helps me keep them organized, and then I noticed that the box names don't show up LOL So if I want to bring a specific box into SL, I have to use my pedigree page to find the box, then search the cattery by selecting that box's traits, gender, size, etc. My pedigree page is super slow (too many boxes ) so this gets cumbersome if I need to find more than one box.

I agree! even to have that would help when pulling out kitties. I know when i restock or pull out kitties that I plan to use for raffles or auction, I keep up one page with my cattery box list and the cat to SL page so I can reference the pedigree and confirm it's the cat that I think it is. I stopped labeling them as it doesn't help to sort them in cattery.

I was thinking I wish I had my own customizable tabs and what to put in each to sort / separate the ones I want to hold on to like the LE"s from the ones I am breeding. I would love to be able to breed there as well but was told that when they have a kitten it's hard to tell what it is without going thru boxes to find it.. it would be nice if when a pair had a kitten the box stayed with the pair until we could see what it was and then designate it to go to boxes or if had customizable tab to send there... hope i'm making sense.. i can see it ..if i could just explain what i see now lol... Other than that I do LOVE the cattery and the ideas!!!

I don't have any difficulty locating a kitty that was just born in the cattery. If you go to the "boxes" tab in the cattery the most recent kittens should be at the top of the page or you can sort your pedigree page by date of creation. However, you can't open boxes in the cattery so it is lacking in that area!

I didnt get the color code thing but it will be a dream come true to be able to birth and menagerie cats directly in cattery, plus transfer the food, milk and vitamins from sl to cattery and op!
Also being able to buy cats from cattery would be awesome!
