Thumbs Up Tortie Cat Please!
We have our 3-Spots.... where is my Tortie?

I have a RL Tortie (Black and Orange, Tortie short for Tortoiseshell shell) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tortoiseshell_cat )

Anyhow this is one of my fav RL kitties and would love to see one in SL =^.^=

Also on the topic of RL colors, would love to see a Tux cat too (Black and White with all black face, looks like it has on a tux)

RE: Tortie Cat Please!
the 3 spot is not a tortie, a tortie has no white on it at all, it is black and orange spotted the orange tends to be very dark.

Also the chat b/w 3 i would not consider a tuxedo cat as it should have no white on it's face to be a true tux kitty, It would be the same with an all black face ^.^. lol i may have to take some RL photos of my kitties to show everyone what i mean Smile

RE: Tortie Cat Please!
Bump for this! There's no reason as to why we shouldn't have this realistic fur, and it's so peculiar yet adorable at the same time!

Here's a few pictures of Balinese & Siamese Torties. I'd so love to see these in KittyCatS, especially given the exceptionally positive reception to the Balinese breed in the past and potentially introducing tortie to other defined breeds as well as the KittyCatS Team sees fit. Smile I'm all for the Balinese/Siamese Torties though as they have a quite distinct look.

This wouldn't be the typical Balinese but have a different look with the tortie points so it wouldn't seem like a mere recolor of the existing Balinese Lynx. They tend to have stripes of colors vertically going down their nose to some extent and a mottled coat, uber cute!

Their overall coats (and faces) would consist of a color palette of the existing Siamese and Lynx points we have in KittyCatS as a Bali/Siamese Tortie would have RL - bits of seal, lilac, chocolate, blue, cream, and flame making up the colors on their coat. With the different types of distinct Torties seen in the Bali/Siamese, it'd allow for a variation or so as well.

(Sorry to resurrect this thread, I was just thinking of posting this suggestion and realized there was already one. Thank you, Luna!)

RE: Tortie Cat Please!
Bumping again because I had to share these adorable tortie kitties with you! A local breeder, well-known worldwide for his apple-headed and classic Balinese and Siamese, both in points and in lynx patterns, posted photos of these baby Torties in their cute kitten form today. These cuties were bred from what we know as a Siamese Flame plus a Siamese Seal:

Both of these are chocolate tortie siblings:

And their seal tortie sibling:

I so love the little stripe going down their nose, even as a kitten, and their markings will continue to develop into more defined tortie goodness as they get older, so much love for these tortie siamese/bali! I hope we can have something similar to this one day, and they come in so many different color combinations too and all end up looking quite distinct with their multi-colored, quirky tortie fur. Smile

RE: Tortie Cat Please!
I have an alley cat that is a tortie! This would definitely be a fur I would buy just for the sentimental connection to my RL kitties!
