I dont have cats anymore at home but i am leader of an animal welfare organisation which runs a small shelter for cats.
Here are some pics of kitties we found on a garbagedump without the mothercat (and after we got them some food and cleaned them from dust and stuff ... ) that really give an "awww" effect
One of our own cats (a siamese girl) helped us by taking care of them all. Even she never had own ones, she gave them milk and got even a bit angry when we had to grab one for chekup. All of them got a new home meanwhile
