Firstly, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for even taking the time to read this!

Recently, a friend and fellow KittyCatS fan unexpectedly lost her real life son, Connor. In addition to the heartache she faces right now, there is also the financial burden of his final expenses to bear.

KumikoTaikomachi, Ana Starlight, and myself are working hard to quickly organize an auction for this coming Friday, 26 July at 6PM SLT, with the intent to donate all of our tips towards Connor's final expenses.

If you would like to bring a cat to this auction - and please note all we ask is that in lieu of tipping any auctioneer, you instead place those funds into a tipjar with all funds being diverted to Khaos - then please reach out to me in world, or KumikoTaikomachi.

Hey everyone,

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped us in preparing for this fund raiser. I do not think I have seen this high of participation in 9 years of being in kittycats, for a fund raiser. It really shows how fabulous our community is and how much people really want to help each other.

With that in mind, I want to make some suggestions. You are still welcome to place kitties for the fund raiser but I recommend that they be set for your opening bid in case someone would like to buy them. Again all tips will be going straight into the TIP jar for MzBehavn. Sale lindens are your call but please drop them into the TIP jar at the auction area. Everything placed into the tip jar is going straight to MzBehavn.

This will be a speed auction unlike any we've done here at KumiCatss before. We have several auctioneers who have offered to call panels and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Any one who would like to call a panel is completely welcome. We will be taking turns calling the panels. With the amount of kitties being auctioned we will basically be telling you the kitty information and possible hiders based on what we see in local or nearby chat, as there is no way we can do complete pedigrees as normally done at auctions.

I urge you to come take a look at what will be being auctioned and have your lindens ready to go. Please do not try to wait for the last second to bid at this auction. As much as we love bid wars, time will be extremely limited. My suggestion if you want a kitty is to bid your highest offering price up front. So bid high and remember why we are doing this.
