kitty cat priceing
as a breeder I try to set my priceing to what I think is a good price I would never tell anyone what they should price there kittys be it normal or special sizes or newer traits but I do have one problem that upsets me this is not the first time I seen this nor will it be the last case in point I seen 3 megas I wanted to buy they was listed in the rm marketplace profiler I teleported in saw them thought they looked cool then I saw the price it was under 1k but when I saw the price I backed off 666 lindens why do people do that why cant it be 665 or 667 I will not buy a kitty now or ever I don't care what traits it maybe carrying newest furs if it has a 666 price tag I walk you can keep it I wish you luck selling it but its not for me even if I like it or would want it price it 666 and I will pass it up

RE: kitty cat priceing
What bothers me is seeing a cat priced at 6626 I mean, come on! Seriously?

Look, you can price your can whatever you want but using Plank's Constant is a step too far.

hehehe Had to Google " Plank's Constant " Heart Love You Tad for the education this Morning Big Grin

I like 3's , 4's 7's and 9's so sometimes i do a L$777 or a L$444 or a L$333. Don't know but i dont' like to do that with 9's L$999 just looks CRAZY. with 9's I round up Big Grin

Now trying to understand Max Planck's "Planck constant" hurts my head about as much as trying to figure out what to price a kitty at. Big Grin

RE: kitty cat priceing
Some people think they are dark and edgy with the 666. There's lots of cheap dark and edgy going on in SL. By the way, the number 333 is dedicated to an obscure demon also.
And in truth, I don't buy cats priced at 666 either.

333 Huh? I never heard of that? I guess to each thier own cause I never heard of it. But I just like the Number "3" "4" "7" "9" of and some times "8" so i use them for pricing kitties. My pricing are not trying to say i'm dark nor that i'm trying to unleash some sort of Demon or something. Mine are there cause i'm being fun and just like the Numbers but I dont' think i have nor will i ever price a Kitty for L$666 out not realy careing for the number Myself.

I do not believe it is my place to judge. If I do not like the cat, for whatever reason, I will not buy it.

Loving the cattery! Thank you KittyCatS!

I dunno if they're being dark and edgy, just ironic and witty. I think it's funny, personally, especially since some experts have figured out that the number of the best is 616, not 666. I'd probably be more likely to buy a kitty at 666 than at 665. Also, not everyone cares, because not everyone is superstitious (or even religious).

Then of course, there's 668: The Neighbour of the Beast. Cool

RE: kitty cat priceing
I'm not sure what to say to this. I respect people's feelings about religion but I do sometimes price my kitties at crude numbers, too. It may happen that I use 666, too. You don't need to buy my cat if this makes you uncomfortable but I'm not sure if that's discussworthy - you don't like - you don't buy it. It's simple as that. Freedom of religion means for me that I respect people's beliefs but demand the same respect for my own world views. You don't have to agree with me, nor do I have to agree with you - and I don't think religion has a place here - this is about cats. Sorry, that's just my penny about this topic :-)
