Suggestion: FAT CATS!
I think there should be a new trait called FAT CAT where the cat will become super chubby!

RE: Suggestion: FAT CATS!
I must admit that I think KittyCats actually look a bit chubby as they are.... - If my RL cat looked like a KittyCat, i might start considering diet Wink

-And while I know that in many, many ways, one should not confuse RL & SL, I am opposed to anything that could promote fat animals. I feel very, very sorry for animals that are made fat, and I believe it ought to count as abuse. It is not funny, and it is most definitely not cute.

Before anyone gets too offended, I would like to make clear that I am talking about FAT animals here... Heck, I too had a cat or two during the years that were a bit chubbier than the ideal - it IS hard to keep the weight on a neutered cat without feeling you have to starve it. -But the suggestion says FAT - and to that, I just have to say I disagree.

Thank heavens, I thought I was the only one to feel like this when I read the suggestion. I hate the idea of 'fat' cats. I'll admit, I'd love a bigger breed, like a Maine Coon so I could replicate my daughter's RL cat, but the idea of fat isn't a thing I want to see. I had a RL cat that we couldn't control his weight after he was neutered, no matter what we tried. As a result, he died of liver issues when he was only six years old.

RE: Suggestion: FAT CATS!
Agrees with Saga although KC's are in no way to compair with real cats what so ever I feel strongly against promotion of obesed pets I find it so so sad what pet lovers consider pampering is really pet abuse.
It might look cute for some but it really is sad for the animal.
I hasitated a bit to reply on this topic as I feared I was the only one who did not like this idea.

RE: Suggestion: FAT CATS!
I was in the same position Kayleigh found herself, mostly because I was active in group chat when Tesseract suggested this and it seemed so funny and absurd I'd never think this could be considered.

I don't think it's even look cute 'cos they are clearly unhealthy and forcing a diet on a cat is not the same as with humans (most humans already suffer a lot when they have to go for a diet), let alone cats who depend on us to be fed.

I'm too sleepy to write a great, coherent post, but all in all, i am against this idea.
