Hi Everyone,

I discovered that I have Pumpkin Spice in my special kitties, I looked in the traits page and noticed it's in the unplaced traits.

This is my kitties pedigree, hopefully it will help you place it.

Mother, Ameerah Coquette, shows Black Tipped White, she is hiding Tuscan Terra Tipped Black. (proven)
Father's, Al'amir Somerton, shows Silver, he is hiding the Pumpkin Spice.

Harmony, thank you for sharing this! If we can see the proof that mom hides Tuscan Terra Tipped Black, this would give us a bottom range. So far we know Pumpkin Spice is recessive to Smoke - which would make for fairly quick work to place, needing only to test against White Tipped Black & Black Tipped White.

Unfortunately without further evidence, neither is an actual proof.

Harmony's cat , we need to see proof that Ameerah Coquette hides tuscan terra tipped black whiskers. This would give a bottom range of pumpkin spice at least dominant to whatever COquette hides.

Candi's cat, we would need to see proof of what Jinx hides. Because Jinx could have passed either his shown black tip white OR his hidden, it's not possible to say from the shown pedigree that pumpkin spice is dominant to the shown whisker.
Candi, we need either: Proof of Jinx's hidden whisker OR proof of what the kitten hides once opened. This would also give a bottom range of pumpkin spice is at least dominant to whatever Jinx hides.

Remember that a proof must be Scientifically certain which means we need to see absolute proof to accept a trait position. And because both pedigrees, the parent has a hidden, it is possible the kitten took the hidden and not the shown black tip white.

Mother's Side - Almeerah Wendy, Grandmother
She is showing the Tuscan Terra Tipped Black.

Mother's Side - Al'amir Elmer, Grandfather
He is showing White Whiskers.

She is showing Grey Tipped Black, which has to be her father's hidden as he is showing White Wiskers. As mother's Tuscan Terra Tipped Black whiskers cant hide the Grey Tipped Black, Allegra has to be hiding the Tuscan Tera Tipped Black whiskers.

She is showing the Black Tipped White.

Father's side - Al'amir Chai, Grandfather.
He is showing Grey Tipped White.

He is showing Smoke, which has to be his father's hidden whiskers, as his mother's Black Tipped White can't hide the Smoke.

She is showing Black Tipped White which has to be her father's hidden whiskers. as Black Tipped Black whiskers can't hide the Smoke whiskers.

As Coquette's Black Tipped White whiskers came from Eugene, the father, Coquette has to hiding her mother's Tuscan Terra Tipped Black whiskers as her showing Black Tipped White whiskers cant hide the mother's showing Grey Tipped black whiskers, so there is nothing else she can hide but the Tuscan Terra Tipped Black whiskers.

I hope you find that to be enough proof that Ameerah Coquette has to be hiding the Tuscan Terra Black whiskers.

Yay! I'm glad that I was able to help a little. I knew that because the TTTB is very very recessive that my info wouldnt be much help to those working on placements, but I am glad it helped a little.

Candi I have proved that Ameerah Coquette is hiding the Tuscan Terra Tipped Black, it's impossible for her to hide anything else.

KittyCats 101 - If the father gives a showing trait, the mother has to give the hidden. That is the scientific proof.
Coquette is showing Black Tipped White, her mother Allegra is showing Grey Tipped Black.
Coquette's Black Tipped White, can not hide her mother's showing Grey Tipped Black. So that means that Coquette is 100% hiding the Tuscan Terra Tipped Black, there is absolutely nothing else she can hide. So that is the 100% proof you wanted.
