Pedigree after selling a cat
I sold a cat that I had had several kittens with before selling.

I think after you sell a cat, if you check the pedigree, you should be able to view the cat and the kittens you bred until you sold the cat. (you can view a sold kitten parent by an unsold kitten child or box but when you click on sold parent, it won't show any history including does not show list of kittens you already bred by that sold parent).

I get not being able to see the pedigree for kittens born after you sell but pedigree should be viewable for cats and list of kittens pre-sale. Otherwise it is very much a pain to have to see a kitten list by a particular parent and have to do it by each individual kitten to resurrect the history of a sold kitten parent.

RE: Pedigree after selling a cat
I agree, the draconian restrictions on viewing Pedigrees is a problem.

To me, you should be able to view the Pedigree for *any* cat you have owned, even if you did not breed it, produced no offspring, and no longer own it.

Implementing that, though, may be too much to ask of the database; technically, it's easily do-able, but the storage requirements can grow exponentially large and THAT could cause performance issues and, possibly, exceed the limits of MySQL requiring migration to Oracle.

In addition, there should be a Roster page which shows them all. But that would need a completely different page: the current design requires sending the entire list, two or three times per page (which is why it's so slow for some breeders). That could be done, too, but requires something KittyCatS, long ago, stated they would never implement: an API.
