Suggestions; Follow & Bell Collars - Jeauno Wind - 09-04-2012 10:45 AM
Okay so some of you who read my other post might know that I like to go out and about with my two kitties, Ikira and Koi. I've spent another morning lounging at my favorite coffee shop with them while thinking of a few ideas. It -must- have been posted somewhere else, but I haven't been able to find it on the forums, so I figured I'd take a risk and post it myself in the rare case that someone else hasn't.I'm not 100% how it would be done, but it seems like another easy feature to implement. A command/follow feature would be really nice for when you have kitties rezzed in places that aren't home and want to keep easy track of them if you're walking around. I'm sure there are several breeders/caretakers out there who would love to see something like this for their kitties.
Another suggestion comes from a friend and fellow breeder of mine for KittyKat bell collars. Perhaps with a sound on/off feature too, though I think she wanted it more for looks.

I would love this follow option as well:-)
While cats usually don't follow as dogs do it would be cool if they semi follow us while sitting every so often washing themself rollong over and such.

There are sample "follow that Avatar" scripts in the LL script library. Dunno how laggy they are but there's probably ways to improve them so they're not too bad.

My kitties (RL) tend to be my shadows. =P My cat Puma will trail me any where and my old cat Butter used to go with me for walks in the woods. ^^

awww that is so cute I must have had bad luck with my chilhood cats
Anyway I would love to have my SL kitties to follow me!

This has always been my favorite feature and would love to see it implemented in our KittyCats. I am still hoping to see this in the future and then my KittyCats experience will be complete. :-)
