I just would like to be able to feed my cats food i had already purchased and send the food to the cattery as well to feed them.. Just saying...

Guess, it is some work to update the food to make it sendable to the cattery. Maybe you just regard the inworld food as a kind of iron reserve. I keep a couple of cats in SL to eat the leftovers.
