Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Ivy Lane - 01-23-2016 01:52 PM Let's start some information on the Orangeberry's and their relationships with other berries! i have this :
RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Eleanor8 Resident - 01-27-2016 10:37 PM This is what I have with Orangeberry in the pedigree that also has another colour around [img][/img] The mums: Catlee is a second generation Cocoberry, who has made Orangeberry and blueberry kittens (different fathers) Lizzy is a starter Cocoberry, who has made two blueberry kittens (different fathers) Rose is a second generation cocoberry who has made two appleberry kittens (different fathers) Jadelyn is a fourth generation Plumberry who has made one plumberry kitten [img][/img] RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Kayla Woodrunner - 02-27-2016 04:51 PM First the chart so we can see what we are working with, then the knowns so far. Then what the chart proves. Ok, summation first. Baby has Orangeberry. Here are the knowns on Orangebery according to Saga's charts OrangeBerry dominant to TealBerry OrangeBerry dominant to GrapeBerry OrangeBerry dominant to CherryBerry Mom shows Appleberry. here are the knowns on Appleberry Appleberry is recessive to Blueberry Mom's dad Appleberry. See the known above Mom's mom Grapeberry. Here are the knowns on Grapeberry Grapeberry is recessive to Blueberry Grapeberry is recessive to Orangeberry Because Orangeberry is dominant to Grapeberry and the baby has Orangeberry, Mom has Appleberry and Mom's Mom had Grapeberry, this suggests a couple things A. Orangeberry is the hid on the Cocoberry dad Ravenor B. Appleberry is probably dominant to Grapeberry, unless the Grapeberry has something more recessive hid which is possible and that more recessive hidden was thrown. So I will put this Orangeberry baby up against that Grapeberry grandma to see if (with luck) I can get another confetti baby and it might show me the hid on the baby. If the baby hides Appleberry or Grapebery, then we will have definite proof on Orangeberry and Appleberry. Right now I don't have anything more recessive thant eh Grapeberry so that is hte best scenario I can hope for. It's really hard with confettis to get definitive proofs unless we know the hiddens. Hard to find out hiddens when you only get 2 babies with confetti furs per 14 babies which is what I am averaging. But I will cross my fingers. RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Arwen Swordthain - 05-12-2016 09:29 AM as you can see from this sibling breed the GrapeBerry is rec to the OrangeBerry RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Kayla Woodrunner - 05-12-2016 11:48 AM Yay! Thanks Arwen for this proof. RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - wildblueviolet Sunset - 12-30-2016 03:14 PM The Saga Charts already shows Orangeberry is dominant to Appleberry, so this Pedigree shows no new information, It however does show the information in clear and irrefutable way. If that isn't Crystal clear, nothing is. And those eyes are so cool on both the orange and apple furs! RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Kayla Woodrunner - 01-16-2017 10:27 PM this is actually Jhan's chart, note mine It proves Blueberry is dominant to Orangeberry so it's a good confirmation. Now just need one for Plumberry re Orangeberry and that section will be set. Mom Martiza shows Blueberry Both her paretns show Blueberry Dad Geoffrey shows Cocoberry Dad's Mom Midge shows Cocoberry so he gets his Cocoberry from her Dad's Dad Sky shows Blueberry so he gets his hid from Dad Maritza and Geofrey had a baby Norville shows Orangeberry So Norville's GrandDad Sky on dad's side hides Orangeberry or more recessive Mom Maritza hides Orangeberry or more recessive Either way a Blueberry hides Orangeberry (just don't know which Blueberry) so this proves Blueberry is dominant to Orangeberry To sweeten the pot, Norville had a baby with a Plumberry and got a Tealberry back. So one of his Blueberry ancestors hides Orangeberry and the other Blueberry hides Tealberry or more recessive. RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Kayla Woodrunner - 01-17-2017 08:17 PM Actually I just realized that Ivy's first proof at the top on 1/23/16 is a proof that Orangeberry is dominant to Tealberry but you need another chart to complete the proof. Chart 1 (obtained from Ivy's Confetti Imgur site with her permission) Left side Mom’s mom Raibow Beauty Coco shown Mom’s dad Sexy Beast Coco shown Mom Citrine shows Lemonberry Right side Dad Sexy Beast Coco shown Citrine is matched up with her dad Sexy Beast Mona shows Teal proving Dad hides Teal and that Teal is recessive to Lemon which has to come from Mom’s Mom Raibow Beauty. If Dad had been the one to have Lemonberry, Lemon would have shown. Also proving Mona shows and hides Teal. 1st chart is proving Mona is actuall Tealberry shown and hid. Now we do an analysis of the first chart of the thread from Ivy. Chart 2 Mom Mona who we now shows and hides Tealberry Dad Orange Violet Baby shows Orangeberry and has to hide Tealberry since Mona is solid Tealberry Proves Orangeberry is dominant to Tealberry. To me it's cool to see that something that was placed here a year ago was already a proof, just needed a little support RE: Confetti Orangeberry : Post your evidence here - Alassariah Resident - 02-03-2017 09:00 PM Orange vs Plum Reya and Brendon produced Constanza, Plum hiding something. Reya and Quincy produce Phinaeus, also Plum hiding something. Costanza and Phinaeus produce Orangeberry box. Since a more dominant color cannot be hidden, Orange must be recessive to Plum. |
