Perform a Full Edit on a thread you've started, which has no other posts.
At the top/left it has a check-box to enable deletion. Check it, and then press the delete button to the right.
The following error results:

None of the possible causes apply.
Either this option is not enabled, and should be removed from the forum setup, or there is an error in the configuration preventing this function from working.
