Seperate Sleep Location point - Drusilla Sciavo - 03-22-2014 02:41 AM

At the moment you have the set home and set range function and as we know the cat will go to its home point to sleep which all works rather well.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a "sleep point"

The Kitty could be set to sleep somewhere other than the center of its range, such as a basket in the corner or up on a window sill without restricting the area it can move in. When the Kitty wakes up it would then return to the home or "awake" point for 8 hours of kitty silliness.

I support this idea. I would rather not set my cat tree in the MIDDLE of the room. But as my shack is on a pier over the water, setting home at the wall lets the cats fall into the water where I cant find them.

If I set home in the center of the room and sleep at the wall, I can keep them visible during their play, and still have the furniture out of the way.

This has always been very inconvenient for me too and i'm sure for most KC lovers, and i've often wished we had this setting.

So full support !

Gets the Angel Seal of approval for sure
I have my poor kitties sleeping in the middle of the room too.

I second this suggestion. Heart
