Seperate Sleep Location point - Drusilla Sciavo - 03-22-2014 02:41 AM At the moment you have the set home and set range function and as we know the cat will go to its home point to sleep which all works rather well. I was wondering if it would be possible to add a "sleep point" The Kitty could be set to sleep somewhere other than the center of its range, such as a basket in the corner or up on a window sill without restricting the area it can move in. When the Kitty wakes up it would then return to the home or "awake" point for 8 hours of kitty silliness. RE: Seperate Sleep Location point - bpostlew Resident - 03-24-2014 09:17 PM I support this idea. I would rather not set my cat tree in the MIDDLE of the room. But as my shack is on a pier over the water, setting home at the wall lets the cats fall into the water where I cant find them. If I set home in the center of the room and sleep at the wall, I can keep them visible during their play, and still have the furniture out of the way. RE: Seperate Sleep Location point - anna Acanthus - 03-26-2014 03:46 AM This has always been very inconvenient for me too and i'm sure for most KC lovers, and i've often wished we had this setting. So full support ! Gets the Angel Seal of approval for sure I have my poor kitties sleeping in the middle of the room too.
