Don't Rely on Pathfinding for Interactions - Theresa Tennyson - 08-07-2013 02:52 PM Prior to the last update, a KittyCat that you have set to interact with you will attempt to get into a position to jump into your arms but if this is impossible it will just attach itself after a short period. With the new update the cat will try and try and try and try and TRY to get into position, which means butting its head against its bed, the dining room chair, etc., until you get fed up and edit-move it. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD BEHAVIOR. I appreciate all the work you've put into the pathfinding and I know it's difficult. But right now it ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH for it to be the only way to set up a cat to attach for an interaction. RE: Don't Rely on Pathfinding for Interactions - Sanura Snowpaw - 08-07-2013 05:24 PM Oh wow I have found they are finding there way around the maze of crap I have out on my platform really well. I am quite impressed with it to be honest. RE: Don't Rely on Pathfinding for Interactions - Kayleigh McMillan - 08-07-2013 05:44 PM I'm impressed as well and certainly with pathfinder also. Eventhough I breed the kitties I see myself above all as a KittyCatS lover always busy creating my ideal pet regardless if others love my taste and my most favorite of a line definately becomes my (perma)pet. This update honored the pet lovers on so many levels, I am still amazed, it had nothing to do with the breedable aspects of the kitties but really with the kitties as a pet only. I'm very happy with it and it is therefore my favorite update even more favorite, how frustrating it could be before, than the update which revealed us the gender before birth. RE: Don't Rely on Pathfinding for Interactions - Theresa Tennyson - 08-07-2013 09:28 PM I should clarify that I'm not asking that the pathfinding itself be taken away, just that the old automatic attach after a certain time be added back in.
