RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - wildblueviolet Sunset - 02-01-2017 11:54 PM Galaxy Orbit is dominant to Tapestry Reef Rosa has Odyssey adore eye and hides Tapestry Reef Rosa is bred to Brun (hides Galaxy Orbit). Her offspring with proves that Galaxy Orbit is dominant to Tapestry Reef RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Arwen Swordthain - 02-02-2017 03:37 AM Thanks Violet, since Odyssey Adore is known to be dominant to Galaxy Orbit, Rosa must have passed her hidden Tapestry Reef meaning Galaxy Orbit is indeed dominant to Tapestry Reef. Even had we not known for sure that Tapestry Reef hides we would know that it had to be dominant to whatever Rosa passed and since we know her hidden we know it has to be dominant to that. Since Galaxy Orbit is known to be recessive to Galaxy Nebula & Galaxy Comet that means both of those are now known to be dominant to Tapestry Reef so I can pull my Comet that should hide Tap Reef. He breeds again tomorrow so I'll let that go just in case he passes it but f not I don't need to bother now RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - KittyCatsProofs Resident - 02-02-2017 03:48 AM Thank you Violet. The Forum Based charts have been updated and notes posted on affected threads linking to your chart RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Kayla Woodrunner - 02-02-2017 03:31 PM Congratulations Wildblueviolet on your proof! Now Galaxy Orbit is down to only two eyes Mercury, Starry Baby Blues RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Arwen Swordthain - 02-07-2017 01:20 PM Galaxy Orbit v Starry baby blues, open for testing RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Ivy Norsk - 02-08-2017 08:06 AM Small update: my first Gal Orbit versus StarryBBlues tester kitten turned out to hide the wrong recessive. I have opened my second tester box. Which means that Arwen and I are running neck and neck. RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - wildblueviolet Sunset - 02-09-2017 02:08 AM Proof: Galaxy Orbit is dominant to Mercury! RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Kayla Woodrunner - 02-09-2017 02:42 AM Wow That is super awesome, Violet! That places Galaxy Orbit and Comet! New order Odyssey Adore Galaxy Comet (Rec to Ody Adore) Galaxy Orbit (rec to Comet, dom to Mercury) Mercury RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - Arwen Swordthain - 02-09-2017 03:15 AM I had a suspicion it was going to be when my Nebula Mercury test returned Nebula, no need to finish that now as it automatically put Nebula dom as well. Already suspected my Orbit passed her hidden against SBB. Great Work Violet 1 proof 2 placements. Fantastic! RE: Galaxy Orbit Eye - Recessiveness/Proofs - KittyCatsProofs Resident - 02-09-2017 03:32 AM Congrats on the proof Violet. The charts have been updated and I added notes to affected threads |
