Yes I know, but is it worth it to list my lines for the last year and farther back just to prove a minor point in the charts? I think someone will soon breed a powder with a more dominant fur, and move the position above the most recessives. There is no Cheetah Malteses in my line, and I doubt anyone is breeding a Maltese against their powder puff just to prove a point - not at this early stage where these cats are too rare to worry about chart position. And oops - I posted under my partners name, her first post more or less. She cuddles the cats, so owns them for that reason. I just breed them

I went back 3 generations just to prove exactly that. Yet still nobody paid attention or cares so I agree with you. Why waste my time. I know this new fur is dom to Chimera Black Grey. Somebody else will post proof and get the credit though. RE: New Fur - Chateau - Powder Puff No 1 - Ivy Norsk - 12-10-2022 12:11 AM Hey folks, I'm playing catch-up with the charts. My RL is more consuming than it used to be. Mitsuru's proof is good. There's a lot of slush because we can't get at what the cats in the pedigrees hide, but the ages of the cats do mean that even though the hiddens could be OciPlat or Chat Toffee pure, there is no way that they can contain anything more recessive than Chimera - Black Grey Double checked the dates: Chimera Black Grey was discovered 9 June 2020 (915 days ago) BUT, the line it came from was from the Love Collection of that year which came out the 15th of March 2020 (1001 days ago). The cats in the pedigree go back 642 days, , 769 days, 838 days. They could potentially hide Chimera - Black Grey but nothing on the chart underneath that. It's an interesting way to get at a proof, a sort of process of elimination. RE: New Fur - Chateau - Powder Puff No 1 - Shamu077 Resident - 01-26-2023 10:18 AM Chat Powder Puff No. 1 is Recessive to American Shorthair Blue & White Tabby. Cashmere hides Powder Puff, which is dominant to Ch Au Nat, and passes to Hanford, (which also has the MystFold ear from Cashmere ![]() ![]() The father Retro Robo Lemon passed his hidden fur, Blue&White Tabby to SnowballS 2 when paired with Cashmere. Since SnowballS must hide Powder Puff from Cashmere, it is recessive to Snowballs more dominant fur, Blue&White Tabby. ![]() Shamu RE: New Fur - Chateau - Powder Puff No 1 - Eleanor8 Resident - 02-10-2023 03:57 PM Chateau Cat - Powder Puff No. 1 is recessive to Cheetah! - Blue Raspberry No. 2. ![]()
