It is meant to be a medium to show how you would act if you had a second life. It is meant to be 100% realistic. WOW, Seriously? Who are you or any of us for that matter to judge what someone's Second Life is to be? Maybe for you it is to be realistic and close to your first life, but for many of us we come on here to live a life we CANT live in first life. I agree with many others here that there are plenty of "realistic" furs and it would be neat to have more fantasy colors out there to balance it out. That is the beauty of Second Life is, you can make your life whatever you want it to be whether it is "realistic" or not. I was shocked to see this post and I hope that the offensive tone presented here does not cloud any newcomers views on KittyCats in general. RE: Blacklight Chateau! - Olivia Cascabel - 08-16-2013 10:46 PM I love all the kitties: Natural, Colors, Fantasy.... All are wonderful and if you don't like one type or another or the eyes don't suit you don't breed them. But anything that adds fun to this wonderful Kitty world is fantastic and exciting.

At any rate, it was humorous (at least to me, apparently!) as we've been asking for more fantasy-colored cats for as long as I've been part of this wonderful community and there have been oppositions in the past similar to what Ethereal has posted, some near as drastic. What can I say, she understands a simple creature like myself. Even if I am evil and hate fantasy creatures. Err, sorry, abominations! EVIL! TRICKSY LITTLE MONSTERS! This is really a great sum-up of why KittyCatS should add more fantasy-colored kitties and why it doesn't really "ruin" anything for those who aren't fans of alternative colors - we already omit various furs from our cattery due to personal preferences, that's the beauty of this breedable is the amount of options to select from. It'd be boring if all of our catteries bred out the same furs among overall trait combinations and we should really celebrate the amount of variety KittyCatS lauds and encourage the addition of more options. Even if fantasy-colored kitties aren't liked by a particular individual, s/he can still rest assured that there's always benefits such as more people joining in on the community with the attraction of newfound fantasy colors. I feel like a broken record, but just reading about the amount of people drawn to KittyCatS through the Chateau - Pink & White 1 (myself included) is pretty awesome, and how cool would it be if our community grew more so due to prospective kitty-owners attracted to fantasy colors? I hope that whichever dev on the KittyCatS Team with potential opposition(s) to implementing more fantasy-colored breedable kitties can read this and truly take it into consideration. When any sort of cat is suggested in this Feedback Corner subforum, I never, ever shoot it down even if it isn't my cup of tea at all - why? Because that particular new breed or fur will always have many who love it, and a way to be even more proud about traiting those kitties in their cattery and being excited about KittyCatS overall, and in turn that makes KittyCatS more exciting for me. ![]()
RE: Blacklight Chateau! - AmoreJade Cyberstar - 08-17-2013 09:41 AM More Colors, More Cats, I'm In!!!! .............. I understand some don't like the "colors", but I don't like red & white tabbies, I still breed, and would love to breed more "COLORS", I say bring out a few more furs for the huge majority that wants them, and leave them to be unbred by those that want too stay with the basic and more natural colors........................... Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy PINK!!!!!! ? EXACTLY!!!!! Well Said! Some forget this is SL! (08-15-2013 11:40 AM)Thorn Witrial Wrote: As a fantasy creature myself, this is why I want this. SL is too amazing and multi-dimensional to ONLY have 'real world' creatures in it. Or even a majority. I would /not/ be here if it wasn't for Chateau - Pink & White 1. There's many, many furs right now that individuals may or may not find as aesthetically lovely as others and therefore choose not to breed them. Much like we decide not to include various available furs in our catteries due to personal preferences, those who don't wish for breedable fantasy-colored furs can simply choose not to breed those, and everyone wins with their dream kitty options whether having a liking for more realistic or fantasy-colored fur. I have zero issues if Callie wants to make cats with fantasy furs, and makes them breedable with the rest. I would love to see others have what they want. I just suggested that the starters that can carry these fantasy furs be separated from starters who cannot. Personally I think this would actually help those that love/want the fantasy furs, because then you'd be able to get the correct starter and not have to wait for the 1/50 or whatever chance you'd get it from a regular starter. It would also allow those of us who do NOT want fantasy furs to avoid starters with those furs. I guess bottom line is I fully support making them, just making them special, like the LE's that passed special eyes and shades not available anywhere else or menagerie tigers, where only those can have certain traits not available in regular starters (like the jade and blush quartz eyes and the wild tiger ears and tiger curl tail). They are normal cats in every other respect. RE: Blacklight Chateau! - AmoreJade Cyberstar - 08-17-2013 10:51 AM I wish I had a pink cat in RL! I can't, so in SL I do!
