We have many potions and almost all can be said to satisfy a whim but needing to unpartner is in most cases no whim, due to a too easily made mistake which i really don't think it's fair that we should have to pay to undo.

It's much too easy to make this mistake so in fact in many cases i don't partner till the last minute to be sure that it's the paring i want to do and when i'm sure i'm properly awake and alert but it still happens to me. I've only ever bought the potion a couple of times, i refuse to in general and prefer to shrug any mistakes off until the next breeding round.

CHEERS! I agree. I have ONCE in my breeding history of over 2 years now put the wrong cats together where it was my error. I have had repeated problems with this new partnering (since they got rid of the # and went to auto) where the cat picks the wrong partner and i don't realize until too late). And frankly I'm getting tired of it.

AND FYI -- it's inconsistent .. i pulled a pair together as an experiment and rehomed them with her old partner IN HER RANGE ... and she picked the right partner from the two. This really is starting to be a huge issue for me.

I have also had the same issue happen many times as Julia & Liriel describe above. Sometimes the cats do not detect they have been given a new home position so they pick up the wrong partner. Tongue

# still works.
But I agree I'd love an unpartner button because if partnering isn't always accurate as in the cases above it seems not so kind people need to pay for unpartnering different than an unpartnering for an other reason in my honest opinion.
In general I think we will do fine without the breakup potion and with an unpartner button we don't want to overdose our cats with vita's after all Wink

I am quite anal about partnering, so for me its quite easy as the one I want to partner is usually the only one that doesn't have a partner at the time. But I have had times where I have almost still gotten the wrong one picked, there are issues with the current partner menu

I would suggest that the menu would bring a button for each of the alternatives (buttons with available kitty names). that way you would not be able to miss the right one.

I also had this wrong in many occasions....
