JC, these tribute cats would have the traits you want them to have, but they would also
already be permapetted and no transferable, like the Fire cat is, so noone could make a business out of them.
What is great is that people could easily get a replica of their beloved RL kitty.

So basically it's a 'build your own cat'-machine, you put in the traits you want and out comes a 9T permapet cat? That sounds so expensive :O

Yes, kind of, doesn't have to be a 9T though. Smile

Not to be the most negative of kittens, but I think that most people would take advantage of this since the very goal of most breeding porjects is to get that perfect cat and then permapet it xD But I do like the idea of tribute cats! Perhaps it's do-able somehow! If it is I'm totally on board! Big Grin

I have come into contact with at least 5 different people completly shattered and broken from their rl kitty passing away. If these cats could be made only through the kittyCatS main store, like the food is, and if this cat were made so the person who got the cat was unable to transfer/copy/modify the cat then wouldnt it be safe for people not to be able to abuse the system? In addition all people I have delt with have needed traits like natural and genisis traits to look similar to thier rl kitty. I am sure that KittyCatS could profit from this because with these people money is not the concern. They are only trying to grasp at the feeling of having their baby back. So wouldnt that be an accentive for kittycats to profit? This would help so many get past that hardest stage of mourning their kitty. I definetly support the tribute kitty idea. Such a wonderful thought.

A cat machine straight out of Callies factory,

placed at the main store,

with a menu button system that lets you pick your traits and sizes,

and a non transferable, non breedable box spits out the bottom,

MUST be priced prohibitivly expensively or it puts the breeders out of business.

Who would buy that red foxy megapuss from you,

if you could get exactly what you wanted through a factory machine?

As a cat owner whos gone through many years of RL kitteh demises,

I understand completely why this feature is being requested.

I just dont think its economically adviseable.

If the factory wants to charge 25k ( or some outrageous price)

for the option of getting what you want, non permapetted,

it just might work.

Though such pricing might make KittyCats.biz look unsympathetic to the cause.
