As the creators of the KittyCatS! AND inspired by the “Second Life Community” we’d like to say Happy 9th Birthday Second Life! We are so thrilled to be part of such a wonderful celebration of creativity and enthusiasm.

This is our second year in participating in the SL birthday celebration and we’re thrilled to bring you this commemorative SL9B KittyCat! This KittyCat is available to ALL residents as our Birthday Gift to you.

Members of the KittyCatS! community worked hard to put their creativity and talent on display through their interpretation of the themes KittyCatS and Community. The top 4 displays with the most votes will be featured in our Main Store, so be sure to go over and vote for your favorites! In addition, several members of our KittyCatS! community who are also content creators have graciously set out free gifts to help celebrate SL9B with KittyCatS! Their birthday gifts are scattered along the main pathway, so as you take in the birthday displays, be sure to pick up some birthday gifts too!

KittyCatS is proud to present our first KittyCatS! Collectible Menagerie Cat!

That magical, mysterious place… the Menagerie…. where KittyCatS go to enjoy a life of luxury, enjoyment and fun forever… and now… for the first time, they are coming to YOU!!! They have heard stories of how wonderful you are from the other cats there and have demanded they be able to come live with you!!! The Bengal Tigers are the first who really insisted they come to be with you, so now, you will be able to enjoy them!

They come with one of the 4 possible eyes: Jade, Amber, Lapis and Odyssey Cobalt & Olivine… all inspired by the beautiful rocks that are part of the exotic Menagerie Landscape. You will also notice their cute ears and tail…

These cats are only available through your Kitty Dollars earned via the Menagerie, and if you don’t have enough now, you can save up for one they plan on staying around for a very very very very long time

KittyCatS! Collectible – Le Tigre Fast Facts!

* are the collectible Menagerie Tiger KittyCatS transferable? – yes!
* can I buy more than one? – yes!
* can i sell or trade them? – yes!
* how do I buy them? – Our Menagerie Collectible Tigers are purchased with your Kitty Dollars earned by sending cats and boxes to the Menagerie. This is shown on your account as your “Kitty Dollar Balance”
* how much are they? – You can buy a normal sized one for 10,000 K$ and a teacup or toy for 12,000 K$.
* do they pass on their coats/eyes/tails/ears? -no.
* do they contain special traits? They have a chance to carry special traits which are not available through other starter cats.

KittyCatS SL9B Decoration Contest!

Decorate a gift box with a KittyCatS SL9B scene!

The contest will be held at our KittyCatS SL9B, every participant will get 150 prims to decorate their gift box.

Decorating will go on from 11th June till 18th June. Voting will start on the 19th June and will close on the 25th June. Winners will be chosen by a combination of a community vote and a KittyCatS! judging panel. Winners will be announced on the 26th June!

Prizes are:
1st Prize 25.000 K$
2nd Prize 12.500 K$
3rd Prize 7.500 K$
4th Prize 7.500 K$

The first 4 will also be featured at our main store in July!

Rules:
- One stall per person
- At least one KittyCatS has to be in the scene
- PG content

Note: We invite you to use your creativity and imagination as you set up your little SL9B gift box. Imagine others taking a peek into a scene you create!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

A picture is more than a thousand words… and we are happy to add PICTURES to your pedigree page!!! The CaTTery cats were so happy to be “seen” and the pedigree cats were like “hey what about us over here???” So of course, like everything we do, we listened to the little cats and now you can see them THERE too!!! Yes, they are so spoiled! I bet next they will want Lobster Kibble.

So now… you can not only read the traits of your cat, but also see them

We made the layout simple to combine compactness & readability. Additionally we made the following adjustments to the pedigree overview:

FAST FACTS:
* Names which are truncated can now be seen to the full in a hover tip when you move your mouse over it.
* Cats & Boxes can carry a “CaTTery” tag, meaning they are in the KittyCatS! CaTTery
* You can now see both the offspring you bred and the offspring you own.
* The menagerie tag (and by extension CaTTery tag) is no longer shown if you are not the owner of the cats, because of “sentimental” reasons.

We hope you enjoy this new addition because the cats promised us you would!!!

We’ve released the blue birthday KittyCat! But you’ll need to work a little bit to get this one for your collection! As part of our birthday festivities, we’ve created a special Birthday Hunt for all to participate in!

Head to our main store and look for the Birthday Hunt sign in our lobby. Take the landmark it gives you to our first hunt location. You’ll be looking for a little blue birthday kitten, just like the one pictured above.

When you find the blue birthday kitten, click it to get the landmark for the next hunt location, then head there to find the next blue kitten (and the next landmark)!

There are thirteen destinations in all where you’ll be looking for the little blue birthday kitten to find and click. The final kitten will give you the landmark back to the main store, where you’ll finally click on the big blue Birthday KittyCat for your FREE blue KittyCatS Birthday kitty!

Remember – you need to find ALL of the thirteen blue birthday KittyCatS in order to collect your very own blue Birthday KittyCat! And while you’re out hunting, don’t forget to check out the amazing and wonderful shops that helped us with this hunt.
